I absolutely loved The Hobbit, both book and movie, and when I came across this cosplay, my jaw just dropped. The crown and cosplay are INCREDIBLY realistic, and had I not known better could easily be taken as the real deal. The dramatic pose and unique camera angle complement the shady, dangerous character of the Elvenking. And the beautiful backdrop? Absolutely capturing a viewer's mind. It looks incredibly like the trees seen in the movie in Mirkwood, and the yellowish-red leaves reflect the colors in Thranduil's crown, the sickness of the forest, and his guarded mind. Overall, a completely amazing representation of Thranduil, created by an equally awesome mortal.
